BodyTite™ is a new sophisticated technology that will revolutionize facial and body contouring by achieving surgical results with minimum scar or the extended recovery time. It accomplishes these significant, long-lasting results in a single procedure utilizing radio-frequency assisted lipolysis (RFAL) which melts the fat and unparalleled contraction of the dermis and underlying connective tissue.

Now, patients have an option to excisional surgery (such as a tummy tuck or arm lift) which leaves visible scars and requires a longer downtime. The answer for many patients will be found using the BodyTite system which provides a safe and minimally invasive procedure.

Description

Who Can Benefit from BodyTite™

BodyTite is ideal for those who are looking to remove localized excess fat and tighten or lift the skin to improve loose and saggy skin. Most areas on the body can be treated including abdomen, neck, arms, inner thighs, outer thighs, knees, back, bra roll, hips, flanks, and buttocks.

The wand used to perform RFAL has a thin plastic probe which is inserted into the tissues and a second probe which sits on top of skin. When the wand is activated, energy from the internal probe melts the fat and heats the tissues between the two probes.  When the target temperature is reached, the connective tissue and dermis contract. The liquefied fat can then be easily removed using a traditional liposuction cannula.

Real Results, Real Fast

With less trauma to the tissues, BodyTite results in less bruising, less swelling, and less pain during your recovery. The expected downtime is 1-2 days depending on the number of areas treated and location of treated area. As with traditional liposuction, a compression garment is worn for 3-4 weeks. While results of the BodyTite procedure can be appreciated immediately, the most remarkable findings, however, have been the degree of skin contraction (35-40% in clinical studies) and continued improvement of skin quality and contour in the 6- 12 months following a BodyTite treatment.

The most important aspect of this RFAL technology is its safety resulting from built-in safeguards such as real time internal and external temperature monitoring, automatic cut-off temperature levels, and selective use by properly trained board certified plastic surgeons. The BodyTite system was approved by the FDA in November 2016, however, the radio frequency technology has been used in aesthetics for over 20 years. Prior to its approval in the United States, the Inmode company, which introduced the BodyTite, fine-tuned the apparatus during its use in Canada, Europe, and South America since 2011.
