Rhinoplasty, also commonly known as a “nose job,” is a plastic surgery procedure that changes the nose’s structure or improves its appearance.
The rhinoplasty procedure is one of the most requested plastic surgery procedures in the United States, with more than 200,000 nose-reshaping surgeries performed each year.
As a dual board-certified otolaryngologist (ear, nose and throat specialist) and plastic surgeon, Dr. Peterson is very experienced in performing rhinoplasty surgery.
Why is it so common? One reason is that the nose is a very prominent facial feature. So, flaws like bumps, hooks, humps or other deformations can be noticeable — and can make you feel self-conscious.

Dr. Peterson commonly performs forehead lift or brow lift surgery for patients wanting a more youthful look in the upper face exceeding what can be accomplished with BOTOX®. Brow lift surgery can correct a brow ptosis, or a condition where the eyebrow droops or sags. Also known as a browplasty, this plastic surgery procedure can elevate a drooping eyebrow that may obstruct vision and/or remove the deep worry lines that run across the forehead. This condition can make you look angry, stern, hostile, or tired. When Dr. Peterson raises the brow, it improves the upper field of vision and can correct visual impairment.

FaceTite™ is a new sophisticated technology that has revolutionized facial contouring with minimal scars or the extended recovery time. It accomplishes these significant, long-lasting results in a procedure utilizing radio-frequency assisted lipolysis (RFAL) which melts the fat and unparalleled contraction of the dermis and underlying connective tissue. Now, patients have an option to excisional surgery (such as a facelift) which leaves hairline scars and requires a longer downtime. The answer for many patients who would be candidates for treatment of double chin and jowl line with loose skin is the FaceTite system, which provides a safe and minimally invasive procedure.
